How do I offer my e-learning to companies and organizations?

From getting employees excited to offering a free trial: here is how to market your e-learning more broadly.

As we described in previous blogs, e-learning is a fantastic solution for keeping knowledge and skills up to date within companies. Of course, it is very important to get employees within the organization excited about taking the e-learning.

But it doesn't stop there.

In this blog, we provide tips on how to get both internal employees and external parties excited about the e-learning, and how you can sell the e-learning on a larger scale (and thereby recoup the development costs in no time!).

‍

How do I get employees excited about taking an e-learning course?

‍1. Clearly show employees the benefits the e-learning offers

‍If the training is about new production techniques, for example, tell the employees how this makes their work more efficient or even increases their chances of a promotion! Make it clear to them how the knowledge and skills they gain in the e-learning make their daily tasks easier and faster.

Adding statistics works very well for this!

2. Make the learning experience interactive and engaging

‍Use interactive elements such as videos, quizzes, and simulations to make learning more appealing. People learn better when they are actively involved in the process. For manufacturing companies, for example, you can offer simulations where employees can operate new machines or troubleshoot in a virtual environment.

This makes learning not only more fun, but also more practical and immediately applicable.

3. Offer flexibility and rewards

Give employees the opportunity to learn at their own pace and time. This is especially useful for shift work. This way, they don't have to stop working, which saves the organization money. You can also award rewards such as certificates or badges to employees who successfully complete modules, for example, digital badges they can share on their LinkedIn profile or a small gift for the first employees to complete a course.

This provides an extra motivational boost!

‍How do external companies discover our e-learning?

Once you know that the e-learning leads to fantastic results within your company, it is time to let other companies know what an opportunity it is for them to participate in your e-learning as well! You can do this in several ways:

1. Content marketing

‍By creating valuable and interesting content, optimizing it for search engines, and distributing it through various channels such as social media and collaborations with influencers or bloggers, you significantly increase your reach. It starts with keyword research and a good understanding of what appeals to your target audience.

Think, for example, of publishing blog articles, e-books, or even podcasts to engage and inspire your audience.

2. Social media‍

By sharing creatively about your e-learning on social media, you truly bring the “e-learning experience” to life for your followers.

Think of sharing enthusiastic reviews from participants, examples of VR/AR simulations, a tour of the e-learning environment, etc.

How do I sell my e-learning to other companies or organizations?

Now that companies and organizations know about your e-learning, you naturally want them to invest in it too! But how do you do that? Here are 3 tips:

1. Show the added value with results

‍Companies want to see what they can get out of your e-learning. Use results from previous projects to show how effective your e-learning is. For example: “Our e-learning led to 20% higher productivity within six months at [company X].”

Concrete figures like these help convince potential customers that your e-learning really works!

2. Offer a scalable and flexible solution

‍Companies often have diverse needs, so make sure your e-learning program is easy to adapt to different sectors or company sizes. Present examples of other companies that have successfully implemented your program, for example: “Our program works just as well for small teams as for large multinationals, as we have previously demonstrated at [company Y].”

Show that the e-learning is easy to integrate with their current systems, such as an LMS (Learning Management System).

3. Start with a free trial or demo

‍A free trial period or demo can lower the threshold for companies to try out your e-learning. It gives them the chance to see the program in action without making a large investment right away. For example, let them go through the first module for free, or give a demo in which you show exactly how your program addresses their specific challenges and needs.

This may be just the nudge needed to convince them of the value of your e-learning.
