E-learning is therefore growing very fast, but that is really not only due to the corona pandemic. The benefits of teaching online have already meant that more and more people took the plunge. Since 2000, e-learning has increased by 900%. Now, of course, at that time, we did not use digital tools as we use them today.
But take a look at these stats. Between 2010 and 2015, the e-Learning market grew by more than 200%. It was estimated that e-learning will grow by another 200% between 2015 and 2025, up to 325 billion. And so this will only continue to grow, as the advantages of e-learning becoming increasingly important.
In order to stay flexible and up to date, you should therefore consider whether e-learning is also something for your company. After all, there are plenty of reasons why companies choose e-learning. First, online learning saves a huge amount of time. For both the trainer and the student.
When you're a good online training makes, you can use it as often as you want. This is because if you have a good basis, you can reuse it over and over again. Possibly with minor adjustments. Does anyone not understand something? Then you can automatically offer your participant extra fabric. If your student finds the material too easy, you can give him/her in-depth material. So everyone can train at their own level and pace. This also automatically pays attention to the areas that are the biggest challenge. This makes e-learning more efficient than the offline version.
Ultimately, travel time also plays a role. You no longer have these at all, or becomes a lot less when you blended learning implements.

It gives you the ability to work with different types of content. This way, you can enrich your training with videos, images and news articles. This provides variety, so that your students stay better at the (online) class.
With quizzes, you can test your students' knowledge in between. This immediately makes your e-learning much more interactive. And this ensures that students remember knowledge much better.
A possible disadvantage of e-learning is that there is a risk that your students will become lonely. Fortunately, there are plenty of solutions for this! This is because you can create a real community within your e-learning. Encourage your students to chat with each other when they don't understand something. This way, your students, even if they don't see each other, feel more connected to each other. Are they more motivated to finish your course? And they're more likely to give your course a good review!
