Your first and last name: We ask for this because you probably prefer using your own name in emails and chat conversations. This also allows us to communicate more efficiently via the chat.
Your organization name: We use this to link participants to your course. It also allows participants to see which training is yours.
Your email address: We need this to confirm your account and send notifications, such as when a student completes an exercise. We also use your email for our newsletter, if you've signed up. You can always unsubscribe via the link in the email or by sending 'I unsubscribe' to info@pluvo.com.
Your payment details: We use these to link purchases to your account. This applies to payments via iDeal or if you transfer money manually. If you pay by credit card, we only know whether the payment was successful; we do not have access to your credit card details.
Your phone number: We request this to provide fast and efficient support.
Your profile picture: This makes it easier for other participants to recognize you. It also personalizes communication when you see faces next to names.
If you're working with your own academy to teach/train users, we store their details (name, email, profile picture, and any values you add).
Internal chat: The chat feature in Pluvo is for communication between participants and trainers, and data is stored for use in your academy.
Reports about progress and answers: We store progress reports and answers to lesson modules in our system until you cancel the academy or remove the participant.
Portfolio and development plan: Each participant can track their portfolio and development plan. We store this information for academy purposes and for the user’s insight.

Well encrypted: We store personal and training data in a secure, encrypted database, inaccessible to unauthorized persons. We regularly check our safety measures to prevent leaks.
In safe hands: We do not share personal information with third parties, except in cases of fraud (see "Combating fraud"). We may share data about your surfing behavior with partners, but this is only linked to your IP address. Your personal information remains with Pluvo. You can read about our use of browsing data in our cookie policy.
In cases of suspicious behavior, we are obligated to provide personal information to authorities, such as the police or judiciary, for fraud detection and prevention.
After your last visit to pluvo.com, pluvo.nl, or pluvo.co, we will retain your data for twelve months before deletion. Data required to be kept by law is an exception. If you wish to have your data deleted earlier, send an email to info@pluvo.com. Please note that once we delete your data, you will no longer have access to the training environment.

We continuously aim to improve Pluvo, sometimes conducting customer or market research. If you agree to participate, we may share your email address with the agency conducting the study. We only work with agencies that follow strict privacy rules, and after the study, they must delete your email address from their system.
When you contact our customer service, we store notes and chat conversations to help you more efficiently. We work with Crisp for our chat service, so any personal information shared in the chat is subject to Crisp's privacy and cookie policies.
