ARTIS welcomes new volunteers with Pluvo

“The online academy saves ARTIS a lot of time, as practical information can be shared in advance via Pluvo.”

ARTIS

Over the past few months, the e-learning experts at Pluvo have been spending time among monkeys, elephants, and birds. We set up an online academy for ARTIS volunteers.

Why e-learning?

ARTIS has approximately 350 volunteers. Naturally, new volunteers need to be trained before they can start. This is now done in Pluvo, where volunteers can absorb the knowledge at their own pace.

What do the e-learning modules look like?

Using videos, quiz questions, interactive maps, audio, and text, new volunteers learn everything about the park's history and its various locations. Two ARTIS biologists recorded a video for each module in the Pluvo studio.

Wat levert het op?

The first volunteers are enthusiastic. Moreover, the new way of working saves the ARTIS team a lot of time, because practical information can now be shared in advance via Pluvo.

ARTIS
Every year, ARTIS trains around 350 volunteers before they start working in the park. Pluvo built an online academy for this purpose, featuring videos, quiz questions, and interactive maps, allowing practical information to be shared in advance.
